The Town of The Blue Mountains 2026 Municipal and School Board election is October 26, 2026. Eligible electors are encouraged to confirm they are on the Voters’ List to ensure they can vote for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, and School Board Trustees. Electors can check, update, add or remove their information from the Voters’ List by visiting RegisterToVoteON.ca, a tool developed and maintained by Elections Ontario.
The final day to use RegisterToVoteON.ca is August 12, 2026. After this date, beginning September 1, individuals can still register or update their information in person at the Town of The Blue Mountains Town Hall at 32 Mill Street, Thornbury, with appropriate identification.
The Voting Period in The Blue Mountains will run from October 16 to 26, 2026. During the Voting Period, voters in the Town of The Blue Mountains will once again be able to cast their vote from the comfort of their home - or anywhere they can access the internet or telephone - 24 hours a day. During the Voting Period, Electors can also attend the Election Help Centre to:
- Ask questions about the election
- Register or update your voter information
- Receive voting assistance
- Vote independently
The Election Help Centre is located at the Town Hall, 32 Mill Street, Thornbury, with the hours provided below:
- Friday, October 16: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday, October 17: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Monday, October 19: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Tuesday, October 20: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Wednesday, October 21: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Thursday, October 22: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Friday, October 23: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturday, October 24: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Monday, October 26: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
