This notice is being shared on behalf of Grey County in advance of the upcoming 2026 Municipal Election.
Are you considering running as a candidate in the upcoming municipal or school board election or registering as a third-party advertiser? If yes, you are invited to attend a Candidate and Third Party Advertiser Information Session being held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Grey County Council Chambers, 595 9th Avenue East, Owen Sound.
The session is free and will include information from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Election and Legislative Procedure Experts - Clerks on Call, and staff from Grey County. Staff from each member municipality will also answer questions and provide additional information. If you are unable to attend, the session will be recorded and available on the Town's website following the event.
