Beaver Valley Outreach in Thornbury is currently seeking an EarlyON Educator/Before & After School Age Program Lead Staff.
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Planning and implementing interactive programs for parents/caregivers and their children up to 6 years of age
- Facilitating a well-rounded Before and After School Age Program at Beaver Valley
- Community School, indoors and outdoors
- Role modeling play based learning
- Provide information and referrals
- Statistical reporting, newsletter, monthly calendar, Facebook page management
- To be available for staff meetings, training and workshops
Education:
- Registered ECE
- Previous experience working with young children and parents
- Current Criminal Reference Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Enthusiastic, supportive, encouraging, resourceful and creative
- Organized and efficient
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
