On behalf of The Blue Mountains Fire Department, the Town is pleased to announce that Enbridge Gas has made a donation of $5,000 to support the purchase of new training material for firefighters to enhance life-saving techniques.
The contribution was made by Enbridge Gas through Safe Community Project Assist - a program with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council that supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in the communities where Enbridge operates.
“On behalf of the Town of The Blue Mountains and The Blue Mountains Fire Department, we would like to thank Enbridge Gas and the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council for the very generous donation of $5,000 for new training materials,” said Fire Chief Steve Conn. “This donation will be used to purchase training and educational materials to enhance life safety techniques which are critical, not only for our Town but for the Firefighters.”
The Town of The Blue Mountains Fire Department is one of fifty Ontario fire departments sharing this year’s $250,000 donation from Enbridge Gas.
“At Enbridge Gas, safety is our priority. We’re proud to support Ontario firefighters who share our commitment to keeping our communities safe,” says Murray Costello, Director, Southeast Region Operations, Enbridge Gas.
