Call for Applications for Public Appointments to Town Committees and Boards

The Town of The Blue Mountains is seeking applications, in the form of letters of interest, from members of the public for appointment to the following Town Committees and Boards. The committee appointment runs concurrent with the term of Council, being 2022 - 2026:

  • The Blue Mountains Police Services Board (1)
  • The Blue Mountains Committee of Adjustment (4)
  • The Blue Mountains Library Board (6)*

Applicants are encouraged to include background information and any special qualifications or interest related to a particular Committee or Board. Applicants may apply for more than one Committee and/or Board and are asked to submit separate applications for each Committee/Board. All members of such Committees or Boards shall be qualified electors within the Town of The Blue Mountains.

All Applications should be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 23, 2022 1:00 p.m. to: Town of The Blue Mountains

*Questions regarding the Library Board, can be directed to, Dr. Sabrina Saunders, CEO, Blue Mountains Public Library, at (519) 599-3681. Applicants must meet legislated eligibility. Library Board applicants are encouraged to visit: www.thebluemountainslibrary.ca for details on screening and interviews. A public information session for library board applicants is scheduled for November 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in The Gallery at L.E. Shore. Interviews for candidates will occur on November 26-27.
