Construction Activity - Road Repairs - George McRae Road and Maryward Crescent

Tentative Dates: November 23 to December 4, 2020

This is a notification that ARNOTT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED on behalf of the Town will be undertaking necessary road repairs, if weather permits, on George McRae Road and Maryward Crescent.

The road repairs will fix several areas of the road that have settled (large dips/bumps) or are missing significant portions of base course asphalt (potholes). They must be repaired as soon as possible to reduce further damage.

Please note, you will receive additional correspondence regarding the outstanding subdivision works that the Town will also be completing in the future.

During the road repairs, you may see construction equipment, dump trucks, and site crews operating. You will see construction signs posted in the vicinity of the work. You may smell asphalt. You may hear noise from the construction activities, in accordance with the Town Noise Control Bylaw 2002-9.

This work should take approximately 5 days total and will occur within the dates noted above, if weather permits. You can expect short traffic delays on George McRae Road and Maryward Crescent when the traffic passage is reduced to one lane. We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary construction activity may cause you.

We do not anticipate any water, sanitary, or utility service interruptions to your home.
