In partnership with the South Georgian Bay Small Businesses Enterprise Centre (SBEC), the Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce the launch of five new workshops to help support and strengthen small businesses within the community.
Workshops include:
- Bookkeeping Essentials- February 28
- Social Media for Small Business- March
- Human Resources for Small Business- April
- Managing Online Reviews – May
- Business Model Canvas – June
The goal of the workshops is to provide tools and strategies to help strengthen local businesses while also creating networking opportunities for entrepreneurs. Each workshop will be led by the SBEC and delivered by local professionals within the field.
“Small businesses play an extremely important role within the Town of The Blue Mountains economy,” explained Chair of the Town’s Economic Development Advisory Committee, Councillor Peter Bordignon. “The workshops were selected based upon feedback and requests directly from the small business community. The goal is for businesses to learn from each other and to take away actionable lessons that can be implemented to strengthen their business.”
