The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that Onsite Sewer Services will be completing CCTV inspections and condition assessments of Sanitary and Storm Sewers throughout the Town beginning March 1, 2022. Inspections will last approximately a month on Town roads, followed by Sanitary Sewer inspections on Highway 26 for two weeks (pending approval from MTO).
On Monday, March 7, 2022, the contractor will begin working on inspections from Thornbury to Craigleith along Highway 26 from Grey Road 2 to Grey Road 40. This will continue for approximately three weeks.
Residents are advised that there may be temporary lane restrictions while the work is being completed. No significant impact to traffic is anticipated.
The CCTV inspections are used to identify any defects or issues with the Sanitary and Storm Sewers and assess their overall condition. This data is then used to assist with asset management and capital project planning.
