The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that the Thornbury Harbour and launch ramp will be temporarily closed to the public on Sunday, June 6th to assist with the Thornbury Yacht Club’s launch in anticipation of the 2021 boating season.
The temporary closure is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as Harbour users prepare to launch their vessels for the season. The temporary closure will help ensure all Provincial and Public Health COVID-19 safety protocols are maintained throughout the day. Following the conclusion of all boat launches, the Harbour will be reopened for public use.
The Town reminds the public to keep up-to-date on current Public Health guidelines before heading outdoors and to visit the Town’s COVID-19 Interactive Map for details specific to each outdoor recreational area.
