The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to provide a reminder that the deadline to submit applications to fill the one (1) vacant Councillor position for the remainder of the 2018 – 2022 term of Council is Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Completed applications must be filed in person at the Town of The Blue Mountains Town Hall.
If you are interested in applying, information packages are available on the elections page on the Town website or by contacting the Town Clerk. The vacant Councillor position will be filled by appointment, and as a result, no formal election or public vote will be conducted.

As a reminder, all applicants must be a qualified elector as defined in the Municipal Elections Act.
Applicants must be:
- A Canadian citizen;
- At least 18 years old, and;
- Resident of the Town of The Blue Mountains, or the owner or tenant of land in the Town of The Blue Mountains, or the spouse of such a person; and
- Not prohibited from voting (as per the Municipal Elections Act) or otherwise by law.
