The Town of The Blue Mountains invites members of the community to join the Gamble family, members of Town Council, and representatives of the Town for a public ceremony to celebrate the dedication of Gamble Park in honour of the late Robert “Bob” Gamble.
The public ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 35 Bruce Street North beside the Georgian Trail. Special remarks from Mayor Alar Soever, former Deputy Mayor and Councillor Gail Ardiel, as well as family and friends, will be made at 10:00 a.m. to honour Bob’s immense community contributions.
Bob Gamble was a long-standing member of Council for both the Town of The Blue Mountains and the former Town of Thornbury. He took great pride in serving his community for over forty years and was instrumental in establishing the Georgian trail.
