The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to invite residents of all ages to participate in user testing sessions to help develop the new Town website. Scheduled to launch this fall, the user testing sessions will provide valuable insight to ensure that the website meets the needs of residents.
The one-on-one user testing sessions will be conducted in person at Town Hall on Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Each session will take approximately 30 minutes. Registration is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.
If you are interested in participating, please call (519) 599-3131 ext. 295 or email the Communications Division using the contact information below.
During the user testing sessions, residents will be asked to complete a series of short tasks to test the ease of navigation and content searchability to ensure that the new website offers a streamlined and user-friendly experience.
“As the primary communication tool used by both residents and visitors, it’s important that the Town website delivers a positive user experience,” explained Mayor Alar Soever. “The user testing sessions will help ensure that the website is an effective tool to share Town news and information”.
