Scenic Caves Road between Grey Road 19 and Swiss Meadows Blvd Closed by OPP for Accident Investigation
ROAD CLOSURE STILL IN EFFECT
(The Blue Mountains, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on scene of a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
The collision took place shortly before 2:00pm today on Scenic Caves Road in The Blue Mountains where a motorcycle went off the roadway and into the ditch. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to an area hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) have now arrived on scene and as a result of the ongoing investigation, Scenic Caves Road will remain closed for several hours between Grey Road 19 and Swiss Meadows Boulevard.
A further media notification will be made when the roadway is reopened.

CLOSED ROAD ADVISORY NOTIFICATION
OPP officers are investigating a single vehicle crash on Scenic Caves Road in The Blue Mountains and have closed the road as a result of the continuing investigation. One person was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
