Seniors Information and Active Living Fair

Wednesday, September 11 in Thornbury

The Seniors Network Blue Mountains will host its third Seniors Information and Active Living Fair on Wednesday, September 11.

The fair will run from 10 am to 2 pm at the Beaver Valley Community Centre at 58 Alfred Street West in Thornbury, and admission is free.

If you are a senior or caregiver in the area this is a great way to connect with many available resources including: caregiving; housing options and supports; safety; health and pharmaceutical information; meal-related options; and others. There will be more than 40 exhibitors, healthy snacks, door prizes, and an opportunity to 'Meet the 'Mayor'.

Sponsors include CARP, Town of the Blue Mountains, Balmoral Place Retirement Community, and Blue Mountain Audiology.

About the Seniors Network Blue Mountains

The network aims to provide information and raise issues of interest to seniors in the Blue Mountains area. The network was formed in 2014. It includes representatives of the Town of the Blue Mountains (Community Services) the Blue Mountains Public Library, Beaver Valley Outreach, Errinrung Long Term Care Home & Retirement Community, the Grey Bruce Health Unit, and several individuals.
