Our New Director of Planning and Development Services
On behalf of our Interim CAO, Shawn Everitt, it is our pleasure to announce that we have hired Nathan Westendorp as our Director of Planning and Development Services.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo. He is currently the Manager of Development for the County of Simcoe.
He has previously held progressive roles for the County of Simcoe including Intermediate and Senior Planner. As well, Nathan has worked for Cambium Planning as a Planning Projects Manager. As a past member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute Community Design Working Group and current chair of the Development Directors of Ontario, Nathan has been able to build on his passion for urban design and exemplary planning practices.
Nathan will be joining us on October 17, 2018.
