The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that a new online interactive Municipal Infrastructure Projects Map has been developed. The map shows all large and medium-scale infrastructure projects that have been completed this year, as well as projects that are currently in progress. The map also shows future infrastructure projects that are included in the Town’s five-year capital budget.

The map was developed internally by staff and provides an overview of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, reconstruction, solid waste, and parks and trails projects throughout the Town. The map will be updated annually to reflect the Town’s 5-year infrastructure plan. This will provide the community with more insight into the Town’s long-term capital planning, and act as a resource to refer back to for a listing of projects that have been completed.
“This new tool will provide residents with a clear visual regarding ongoing and future municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Town,” explained Shawn Carey, Director of Operations. “In any given year, the Town is working on multiple infrastructure projects, and our goal is to ensure residents are aware of all planned upgrades and improvements. This new online map makes the information easy to find and reference.”
