Hailing from studios in Wasaga Beach and Hamilton, Adele Derkowski and Paul G. Russell present Near & Far at The Gallery at L.E. Shore – a new exhibit that contemplates aspects of the natural world.

Join us at the Gallery of the L.E. Shore Library as it comes alive with the magic of the holiday season! Enjoy festive stories, songs, and rhymes, with special guest Mary Hindle on piano for an extra touch of holiday cheer!

The Craigleith Heritage Depot, a branch of the Blue Mountains Public Library, and Mountain Goat Films are excited to announce the premiere of “Craigleith Station,” a captivating documentary directed by Tracey Strnad and produced by Tom Strnad, taking place at the L.E. Shore Memorial Library on Wednesday, December 18. 

Join Ashley on this week’s Wired Wednesdays as she explores Mango Languages, an online tool that makes language learning fun and accessible. In this video, Ashley will guide you step-by-step to get started, select your target language, and make the most of this engaging platform!

Help keep your body moving with some easy stretches and gentle aerobics.  
Class is 1 hour with an option to stay on for floor exercises afterward.

Join us in the Story Tower at L.E. Shore Library for a special edition of Story Time! We're partnering with the Climate Action Now Network (CANN) for an engaging event focused on the environment, sustainability, and climate change.

This event is for children ages 0-5 years (older children and siblings are welcome too!) and will include stories, crafts, and fun activities. 

The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is returning to The Blue Mountains, to light up the city and bring joy and holiday magic!

New to this year’s tour is Canada’s Kindest Community, a nationwide search, in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada, where Canadians are invited to share acts of kindness, whether their own or those of others, that have made life in their community better. The community with the most nominations will receive a $50,000 donation to a local Community Foundation.

These free events will be informal, with no set agenda. Coffee, tea and light breakfast snacks will be available, and attendees have the opportunity to talk with Council members. Members of the public are encouraged to attend, and registration is not required.

Join Grey County Master Gardeners during their Gardener-in-Residence Office Hours for a short demonstration or presentation at the start, and a discussion on a monthly theme. Office Hours will be held every 4th Tuesday of the month from 12:30 - 2:30 in The Gallery at L.E. Shore Library.

Come and explore BVCS's largest fundraiser, the Sugar Plum Fair. Get a kick start on your holiday shopping at the Vendor Market; pick up homemade treats & goodies at the Country Kitchen & Bakery; find exciting creations at the Treasure Chest; try your luck at the raffle for the highly popular Class Baskets; bid on amazing experiences & items at The Silent Auction; pick up fresh festive Greens while the kids enjoy Face Painting, Games, Movies and so much more. It's an event for everyone to enjoy & support!

On the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August and December) 9am-noon area residents have the opportunity to bring their broken items to the Repair Café, where community volunteers use their skills to help repair them for free. We also share some social time, with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies. This adventure not only brings our community together to help our neighbours, it also lengthens the life of the items repaired/mended, diverts items going to our landfill and saves taxpayers money!

Meet us in the Story Tower at L.E. Shore Library for a fun and interactive Story Time on Fridays at 11:00am. Join us for stories, rhymes, movement, songs, and lots of FUN!
