Artists Michael Black, with Victoria Huntley, present an exhibition featuring bold abstract paintings and vibrant glasswork, contrasting the literal and symbolic meanings associated with Gardens.

Join us for a morning filled with stories, bracelet making, and finger painting! Channel your inner Swiftie and craft a special friendship bracelet for you and your best pal—or better yet, bring your bestest pal along to join in the fun. End the week by adding your handprint to our community mural, a lasting reminder of our collective creativity, proudly displayed in the library. This program is open to all ages, so gather your friends and family for a fun and creative finale! While supplies last.

Get ready to add a splash of color and sparkle to your day with our Mosaic Bead Suncatcher Workshop! Join us at 11:00 AM for a creative adventure where you'll craft your very own vibrant suncatcher. All supplies provided—just bring your imagination! This fun-filled activity is perfect for ages 8 and up. Don't miss out on the chance to create something truly magical! These beautiful sun catchers will need 24hours to dry. Pick up will be the following day.
Get ready to unleash your creativity as we cut, craft, and combine colourful shapes into stunning masterpieces. Whether you're a budding artist or just love to make art, you'll walk away with a unique creation to proudly display at home. Come ready to create, be inspired, and repeat the fun shapes! On the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August and December) 9am-noon area residents have the opportunity to bring their broken items to the Repair Café, where community volunteers use their skills to help repair them for free. We also share some social time, with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies. This adventure not only brings our community together to help our neighbours, it also lengthens the life of the items repaired/mended, diverts items going to our landfill and saves taxpayers money!

Our Kids Can program is back, and we’re heading into February with a sweet treat! Join us for a fun and flavorful adventure as we make Cozy Crêpe Spirals—a warm, tasty snack that’s just as enjoyable to create as it is to eat.
Young chefs will get hands-on experience measuring, scooping, rolling, and cooking with a skillet. Along the way, they’ll build confidence in the kitchen while learning essential cooking and baking skills. Registration is required. Ages 8 and up.
