In this video, Ashley will talk about where to find the storage area on your device. There is physical storage and cloud storage. Physical storage is built into your device. Each device, whether it be a computer, smartphone, tablet, etc., has physical storage within it. Ashley will show you how to get there and explain what it means.

A friendly group of painters of all skill levels meet every Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg. We are pleased to announce the dates of our 2022/23 gatherings. Fall/Winter Sept 13 to Dec 20, Winter/Spring Jan 10 to May 30. Tables available to set up your work in your medium of choice…. oil, acrylic or water colour. Lots of encouragement and gentle advice is available. Weekly fee is $13. Special monthly workshops available as well for an additional fee.

In this video, Ashley will talk about clouds. Almost every tech company has a cloud to backup your device to. Which one will work best for you? Each company has an amount of free storage (in gigabytes) that you get for free when you sign up. After that, you have the option to buy. Ashley will talk about a few of the more popular clouds and what they offer.

Letters To Santa: Last Day

Write a letter to Santa and drop it in our North Pole Mailbox at the L.E. Shore Library, and the staff there will make sure it gets to Santa at the North Pole in time for Christmas!

Exhibit Launch: Sense of Place

The Arts and Culture Council (ACC) for The Gallery at L.E. Shore is pleased to announce the launch of Sense of Place. Featuring the works of Judy Shield and Natasha Lehman.

Wired Wednesdays: Victor Reader Stream (For people with print disabilities)

In this video, Ashley will talk about the Victor Reader Stream, a device that connects to a wireless connection and allows for people with print disabilities to have audiobooks at their fingertips. All you need is an internet connection and a pair of standard headphones to listen. The device also has a built in speaker if preferred. The audiobooks come from CELA (The Centre for Equitable Library Access).
