Join the Teen Group and have your say on Teen programs and services, become involved in your community, and meet new friends!

Being a part of the Teen Group gives you the chance to suggest ways that the BMPL can better serve our teen community, offer ideas for exciting teen programs, and provide feedback about the library's teen collection. Being a part of the BMPL Teen Group is a great way to acquire your High School Community Involvement hours while having fun!

The Teen Group meets the second Thursday of each month. Registration required.

Wiggle Worms Wellness Program

During the Wiggle Worms Wellness group program, families will be invited to connect to themselves intentionally and playfully.
Participants will be guided through various asana poses, meditations, and reflections. Families are asked to bring their yoga mats.
Registration is required. For parents and children ages 4-10.

Our Military Heritage

Join the museum staff as they present local military history through exhibits and talks. Featuring three short talks on Women Officers in WWI, The Ravenna Cenotaph and the on-line exhibit, Our Military Heritage. Free admission, donations gratefully accepted.

Inuit Culture Workshop

Join Muckpaloo Ipeelie, Urban Inuk, as she introduces you to Inuit Culture in this workshop. You will discover what an inukshuk really is, along with language, history and cultural knowledge. Ages 16 and up. Register online or email LibraryPrograms@TheBlueMountains.ca.

This area has a great selection of birds to discover and appreciate in so many ways: interesting behaviors, cool adaptions and just good ecology. Birds make you cooler.

The cost for this program is $20 upon registration. Pay with your card online, or visit the Library to make payment. The library accepts cash, debit, cheque, Visa and Mastercard. Note: Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a refund.

L.E. Shore Gallery: Exhibit Launch - November Trio

The Arts and Culture Council (ACC) for The Gallery at L.E. Shore is pleased to announce the launch of November Trio. Featuring the works of George Rutherford, Margaret Cora Schmor, and P. Annie Churchill.

This exhibit runs October 29 - November 30, 2022 and is available in-person at The Gallery in the L.E. Shore Branch and online via our Exhibits webpage. Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The Blue Mountains Public Library is hosting a spook-tacular pumpkin decorating contest!
Decorate a pumpkin inspired by your favourite book or movie character.

Registered participants will meet us at the L.E. Shore Library at 11:00am on Saturday, Oct 29th
We will provide markers, décor and whatever else you will want to use to decorate your pumpkin
