Georgian Bay Forever - Shoreline Clean Ups

The Town of The Blue Mountains is proud to support the organization, Georgian Bay Forever in its efforts to host a community shoreline clean-up event at Delphi Point Park.

Following the Tree Trust Planting Event, Georgian Bay Forever will be hosting a Shoreline Clean Up at Delphi Point Park running until 4:30pm.  Light snacks will be provided.

All materials will be provided for volunteers to conduct a shoreline clean up safely.

Let's talk about ghosts with paranormal investigator Michelle McKay. Have questions about the paranormal? Want to share your experiences or hear others' experiences? Want to meet like-minded people who are interested in ghosts and the paranormal? Michelle has been a paranormal investigator for over 20 years and has appeared on television in over 32 countries. This is a free event open to the public from 630-8pm. Doors close at 635pm. L.E. Shore Library at 173 Bruce St South in Thornbury, Ontario.

Marsh Street Centre's 2nd Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament

Prizes and more to be had at this fun, casual golf tournament! Registration opens at 8am, shotgun start at 9:30am.

Following their round of golf, players will enjoy a BBQ lunch on the patio at the Marsh Street Centre. Pre-game coffee
and donuts will be provided by Tim Hortons, Thornbury.

The Arts and Culture Council (ACC) for The Gallery at L.E. Shore is pleased to announce the launch of Outdoor Adventures. Featuring the works of Gordon Walker, Mary-Jane Jones, and Robert Pointer. This exhibit celebrates our community's outdoor beauty and year-round activities. From scenic lookouts, trails, caves, beaches, ski hills, biking trails, and beaches, we are a natural playground for outdoor activities in every season.

MAP 2022-2023 Art Drop-Off

Our 11th Annual Municipal Arts Program (MAP) launch is almost here!

Today, artists will drop off their pieces in preparation for the MAP Open House. Artwork will be on display in the Town Hall Atrium on Wednesday, August 31st for public viewing, before being hung throughout the Town Hall for the 2022-2023 year. This exhibit will also be presented virtually on our MAP Exhibit webpage.

Items are available for sale through the L.E. Shore Branch of The Blue Mountains Public Library. Please feel welcome to call or email for inquiries.

There is no fee for these concerts thanks to our sponsors and donations from those attending.

For non-residents there is a parking fee for certain areas near the park. Residents will need their Town Parking Pass.

Free parking is available at the Medical Centre at 78 King Street with a trail at the back for a shortcut to the park.
