2025-2026 Action Plan

The 2025-2026 Action Plan has been prepared based on several sources. This includes a review of the materials submitted by the Blue Mountains Ratepayers Association, current initiatives underway, future priorities identified through the 2023 Housing Needs Assessment and feedback received by proponents exploring opportunities for affordable housing projects.

Additional Residential Units (ARUs) have emerged as a popular option for homeowners to help alleviate local housing challenges while generating rental income. The Town is committed to providing guidance and support throughout the ARU building process.

The Housing Within Reach CIP establishes a toolbox of incentive programs that the Town offers to encourage and facilitate the development of attainable housing to meet the community's needs.
