Lora Bay Park
Lora Bay Park is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to the Lora Bay Golf Course. It has a sand beach waterfront with spectacular views of the Georgian Bay shoreline. There is also a large open green space, picnic tables and washroom facilities.

Seasonal Park Closure
Lora Bay Park has been selected as the assembly site for the new treated effluent outfall pipe for the Thornbury Wastewater Treatment Plant. The park is expected to be closed to the public from early May to October of 2026. For ongoing updates, please visit our project web page.
Facility Rental Information
The Lora Bay Park green space can be reserved for weddings, family reunions and other unlicensed special events.
All reservations must be made by submitting a request to the Community Services Department through the online Facility Booking Request Form.
