The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents of changes to the sample pick-up schedule for the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit's voluntary well water testing program.
Beginning in September, samples will be picked up weekly from Ravenna Hall at 10:00 a.m. each Thursday. The first day of the new pick-up schedule will be Thursday, September 3. Samples must be dropped off within 24 hours of the pick-up time. Ravenna Hall will be open for sample bottle pick-up or drop-off on Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Water testing is free and part of a complimentary program offered by Public Health Ontario for residents on wells and other private systems. For more information regarding private drinking water testing, please visit the Public Health Grey Bruce website.
If you are connected to the Municipal Drinking Water supply and would like to have your drinking water tested, please contact the Water & Wastewater Division to arrange to have a sample collected.
