On behalf of the Town of The Blue Mountains, WT Infrastructure Inc. has completed the design and engineering for construction of upgrades at the Mill Street Sewage Pumping Station.
The project has been tendered and the construction contract has been awarded to Industra Construction Corp. Mobilization is expected to begin in October 2026. Construction activity will be occurring on town-owned land at 18 Bay Street East.
Project Scope
- Temporary bypass pumping of incoming wastewater
- Removal and disposal of existing electrical and mechanical equipment
- General refurbishments and renovations of the existing building
- Construction of a pump station building extension connected to the existing building
- Construction of a new wet well, and expansion of existing dry well
- Construction/installation of all new electrical and mechanical components
- Construction of new asphalt access lane
- Site restoration
What To Expect
You may experience dust, noise, vibrations, odours and other inconveniences as a result of construction. The Town will work with the contractor to reduce these impacts where possible by maintaining standard working hours and providing written notice of planned service interruptions or restrictions. We appreciate your patience throughout the project.
