The Town of The Blue Mountains has launched the 2026 Resident Satisfaction Survey and invites residents to share their feedback on Town services and operations. The survey provides an important opportunity for residents to identify areas for improvement and help shape municipal services, budgeting and strategic priorities for the new term of Council.
The survey is open until Monday, November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. and can be completed online by visiting www.thebluemountains.ca/residentsurvey. The survey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and all residents are encouraged to participate.

Paper copies of the survey are also available for pickup at Town Hall or The Blue Mountains Public Library. Residents can also request a paper copy by calling (519) 599-3131 ext. 282.
"This year's Resident Satisfaction Survey comes at an important time, as it aligns with the beginning of a new term of Council," said Adam Smith, Chief Administrative Officer. "The feedback gathered will provide valuable insight into residents' experiences with Town services, areas for improvement and community priorities. These perspectives will help inform future decisions and support Council's realignment of the Town's corporate strategic priorities as it establishes its direction for the next four years."
Survey results will be compared with findings from the 2022 and 2024 Resident Satisfaction Surveys to identify trends, changes in resident satisfaction and opportunities for improvement. The results will be presented to Town Council in the new year to help inform the 2027 Town Budget and support the realignment of strategic priorities for the new term of Council.
About the Resident Satisfaction Survey
The Town conducts a Resident Satisfaction Survey every two years to better understand community needs and expectations and help inform future decision-making, budgeting and priority setting.
The survey seeks feedback on a range of municipal services and operations, including service delivery, customer service and communication, financial management and leadership. Residents will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on Town-owned infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, bridges, water and wastewater systems, and recreational facilities and amenities.
