Temporary Closure - Clendenan Conservation Area

On behalf of the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, the Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that the Clendenan Conservation Area is closed until further notice due to flooding of the property.

Conservation Authority staff will be installing a barricade and caution tape at the entrance and signing other access areas. The entire property will remain closed until water levels recede and it is safe to reopen.

Town of The Blue Mountains Launches New Recreation Booking System

The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce the launch of a new system to manage its recreation facility availability and scheduling. The new system streamlines the booking process by allowing the public to view availability, request bookings and securely make payment entirely online. 

The platform is built on the Univerus Rec system, and includes all of the Town’s parks, pavilions, pickleball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, indoor spaces and ice times. 

SHIFT Landscape Architecture Contracted for Revitalization of Moreau Park and Design of Craigleith Community Park

The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce that SHIFT Landscape Architecture has been contracted to complete the preliminary and final designs of two major community parks projects – the revitalization of Moreau Park in Thornbury, and the development of the new Craigleith Community Park. 

Temporary Closure - Thornbury Harbour - October 17 & 19, 2025

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that access to the Thornbury Harbour, Thornbury Pier and Little River Park Parking Lot will be restricted on Friday, October 17 and Sunday, October 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day for haul-out activities. During these times, access to the Harbour will be restricted to vessel owners participating in haul-out.
