The Town of the Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that Curbside Garbage and Recyclable Collection will occur as usual for the Labour Day Holiday and the remainder of the week.
Residents are reminded that:
• Bag limit - first bag/can is free, second bag/can must be tagged.
• Garbage, Compost and Recycling must be curbside by 7:00 a.m.
• All material placed in your garbage and compost must be bagged.
• Place all used gloves, masks and other protective equipment in the garbage as they are not recyclable.
• Cardboard is flattened, cut into 18" x 24" size and placed next to your recycle bins.
• Solid Waste Disposal Site Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• The Household Hazardous Waste Depot is open May 4 to September 30, 2021.
**NEW** - Styrofoam Packaging Recycling is available at the Solid Waste Disposal Site.
The “TBM Waste Resource App” is available for download from Apple and Android. Residents can also access waste information on the Garbage, Recycling, and Waste page. Please review the Waste Resource Guide for proper sorting techniques.
