May 22, 2025 - This notice has been updated to reflect that spot spraying will also be occurring on rural roads during the same timeframe.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that spot spraying of Wild Chervil is scheduled to be conducted on the Georgian Trail and on rural roads from May 20-30, 2025, pending weather and conditions. The herbicide spot-treatment will be conducted by Eagles Weed Control where Wild Chervil has been reported or is present.
Signs will be installed at each end of the areas being sprayed. Residents are asked to stay in the middle of the trail during weed spraying to avoid contact with the herbicide.
