In response to the Provincial announcement regarding the return to Modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen, the Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise that select municipal facilities will be closed to the public until further notice.
Facility closures include Town Hall, Beaver Valley Community Centre and Arena, Craigleith Community Centre and Ravenna Hall.
During the facility closures, Town staff continue to be available to assist residents over the phone and by email during regular business hours. In addition, various online services can be accessed 24/7 by visiting: www.thebluemountains.ca/online-services

Town Landfill and Recycling Depot
The Town Landfill and Recycling Depot will remain open for public use. Enhanced physical distancing and capacity limits will be enforced to ensure the safety of staff and visitors. All visitors to the site are reminded that masks must be worn at all times. Building Permit Inspections
Building Division inspections will continue; however, all building permit inspections will require that enclosed structures be vacant during the inspection. Please plan accordingly and ensure contractors are aware ahead of the scheduled inspection time. The Blue Mountains Public Library
The Blue Mountains Public Library L.E. Shore branch will be open for browsing, but patrons are asked to limit their time in the building. Computer access and study tables will remain available. All onsite programs have been cancelled until regulations allow for gathering indoors.
The Craigleith Heritage Depot is moving to curbside service and per the new regulations, the museum access is closed. Library materials will still be available through holds pick up.
In addition, hours of service at both the Craigleith Heritage Depot and the Blue Mountains Public Library L.E. Shore branch have been adjusted to the following:
L.E. Shore Hours
- Monday - Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm
Craigleith Heritage Depot
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 12:00 - 5:00pm
- Sunday 12:00-4:00pm
