EXHIBIT OPENING: 30” by 30”

BayValley Artists (formally Marsh Street Artists) are bringing a special exhibition to The Gallery at L.E. Shore to help us mark 30 years of incredible art.

The show’s theme? We’re tying it in as close as we can: 30”x30” paintings!

Join us for the grand opening on November 29 to explore a beautiful collection of work, mingle with the BayValley Artists and celebrate local artistic talent.

TBM Repair Café

On the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August and December) 9am-noon area residents have the opportunity to bring their broken items to the Repair Café, where community volunteers use their skills to help repair them for free. We also share some social time, with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies. This adventure not only brings our community together to help our neighbours, it also lengthens the life of the items repaired/mended, diverts items going to our landfill and saves taxpayers money!

Letters to Santa

It’s that magical time of year again!
Sharpen your pencils and gather your best holiday wishes—it’s time to write a letter to the one and only Santa Claus! 

Starting Saturday, November 22, visit the Library to find our Letters to Santa writing station, complete with festive paper and a bright red North Pole Mailbox.

Calling all spooky spaniels and howling hounds! The Thornbury BIA is hosting its second annual Wag-o-ween, a dog- and family-friendly Halloween event where costumes are encouraged for everyone. Meet at Smith Memorial Park (between Town Hall and the BVO) for a guided dog walk ending on Bruce Street South with a costume contest, pawsome prizes from Uptown Dog and Mullin’s Pet Market, treats, pup cups, activities, special guests, and Halloween cupcakes for humans!

Story Time with Sam the Therapy Dog

Get ready for a heartwarming and educational experience! On Fridays, October 3 & 10, we’re welcoming a very special guest—Sam, a certified St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog, along with his handler—for two soothing story time sessions.

During these gentle, interactive programs, little ones (ages 0–5) will have the chance to listen to calming stories, meet Sam up close, and even give him a friendly pet or cuddle. It’s a wonderful way to help young children build comfort and confidence around furry, four-legged friends in a safe, welcoming environment.
