The Gallery at L.E. Shore’s Arts and Culture Council (ACC) is honored to present an exhibition celebrating the work of the late artist, Joan Folinsbee Timmins.

The exhibition will explore works from a multi-decade career: abstract and realistic, large scale and small; landscapes, portraits, still-life, abstracts and figure drawings in many mediums - watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels, pen and ink.

Join Lily the Engineer and step into the shoes of real engineers, using everyday materials to solve fun, practical problems while learning how to brainstorm, build, test, and improve designs.

July 14th - Tower Building Challenge: Join us for our Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower Building Challenge! Kids will team up to create the tallest freestanding tower they can using simple materials, creativity, and a little engineering know-how.

Join us for an open and relaxed discussion about death and dying, as we shift the conversation from one of fear and avoidance to that of familiarity, comfort, and consciousness.

This session will be led by Jake McArthur, a poet, playwright, actor, facilitator, coach, and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant®.  Jake brings a gentle, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to creating spaces where people feel comfortable sharing and listening. His work is grounded in careful observation, meaningful questions, and a life-affirming presence.

Registration for our popular Fall Kids Clubhouse program opens August 24th at 10:00am!

Join us every Tuesday from 3:30–4:30pm for an hour of creating, crafting, building, and exploring. Each week, participants will dive into hands-on activities that spark imagination and creativity, from art and painting projects to STEM challenges, games, and more.

Perfect for children ages 8 and up who love to make, design, experiment, and have fun with friends.

We’re excited to be back at the Farmers Pantry for two special visits this summer!

Join us for a fun-filled morning of stories, crafts, and time with friendly farm animals—including pigs, bunnies, and goats. Story time participants can enjoy this free program from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Whether you're an experienced writer or simply looking for inspiration, The Blue Pen is a welcoming monthly writing group where creativity comes first. Through fun prompts, writing exercises, and supportive discussion, participants are encouraged to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), explore new ideas, and discover where their words can take them. Meets the 3rd Wednesday from 2-4pm at Craigleith Heritage Depot 113 Lakeshore Rd E, The Blue Mountains.

From shoreline to finish line, ride to strengthen local cancer support. On Saturday, August 15, cyclists from North Simcoe, Southern Georgian Bay and all across Ontario will come together for the 15th Annual Georgian Bay Cycle For Hope, raising essential funds to support cancer care programs and services at the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre's Home for Hope at 185 Hume Street.

Enjoy an unforgettable performance, savour dinner on a patio, browse the Village boutiques, and end the evening just steps from where you're staying. It's an effortless night out, made even better in the Village.

In this beginner friendly workshop with The Woven Wolf, participants will learn the basics of using a sewing machine while making a simple project.

All materials and tools are provided, including fabric, ribbon, sewing machines, patterns, and basic sewing tools. Printed instructions will be shared so participants can make the project again at home.

Participants will learn how to safely operate a sewing machine, read a paper pattern, identify the warp and weft of woven fabric, sew 1/2 inch seams, create a double fold hem, and finish edges with a zigzag stitch.
