The Gallery at L.E. Shore is thrilled to welcome instructor Chari-Lynn Reithmeier for a fun and mindful Zentangle workshop!

Zentangle is an easy to learn, relaxing method of creating beautiful images from structured patterns.   As a student, you will learn to access your intuition and develop your creativity. The practice of Zentangle allows you to shift your state of mind towards relaxation, focus and inspiration. 

Cost: $35.00 per person (includes all supplies) payable on the day of the workshop (June 14). Cash preferred.

TBM Repair Café

On the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August and December) 9am-noon area residents have the opportunity to bring their broken items to the Repair Café, where community volunteers use their skills to help repair them for free. We also share some social time, with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies. This adventure not only brings our community together to help our neighbours, it also lengthens the life of the items repaired/mended, diverts items going to our landfill and saves taxpayers money!

A new exhibit is coming to The Gallery at L.E. Shore, inspired by a deep love of painting the beauty of Ontario and getting better at it along the way. 

Holly Kee and Delia Eastwood have spent most of their lives in the Great Lake region of Ontario and feel that the Niagara Escarpment and our freshwater lakes to be large and generous characters, rewarding us just by being themselves. These artists strive to honour the beauty of their home’s lakes, rocks and trees through drawing and painting. 

Kids Can Cook: Quesadilla Pizza

Join us for a tasty and fun cooking adventure in April’s Kids Can Cook program! This time, we’re making quesadilla-style pizza—a perfect after-school snack or an easy-peasy dinner.  Kids will get hands-on in the kitchen, using hot plates, frying pans, knives, and cheese graters to create their delicious masterpieces. Since we’re working with limited equipment, this session will run a full hour.

Ages: 10+. Registration required! Spots are limited, so sign up today and get ready to cook up something amazing!

Last year’s Summit brought together over 120 attendees from diverse sectors, including business, non-profits, and residents, who engaged in compelling discussions and presentations on the Circular Economy and Green Initiatives.
