Step into the magical world of fairies! In folklore, these mischievous little beings are known for guiding travelers—or sending them off on unexpected adventures to enchanted realms. Join us in the Gallery for a whimsical Fairy Travel Workshop where you’ll create your very own traveling fairy using all sorts of magical materials (and a hot glue gun or two!). Perfect for imaginative adventurers ages 8 and up. Space is limited, so be sure to register!

Groove to the beat with Tyler Boyle as he leads the dance floor on the Front Lawn at L.E. Shore Library! A fun-filled event with dancing, crafts, LGBT+ resources, giveaways, and games. There will be a flash mob style dance with easy-to-follow moves, encouraging everyone to add their own style.
No dance experience needed – this is for all ages and abilities!
On the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August and December) 9am-noon area residents have the opportunity to bring their broken items to the Repair Café, where community volunteers use their skills to help repair them for free. We also share some social time, with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies. This adventure not only brings our community together to help our neighbours, it also lengthens the life of the items repaired/mended, diverts items going to our landfill and saves taxpayers money!
