Join Alistair Martin as he shares selected landscapes of these iconic painters to reveal what it meant to be Canadian in the 20th Century. During this illustrated journey across Canada’s Algonquin region, its prairies and the forests of British Columbia, participants will be encouraged to share what Canada means to us today.
Explore the stars through the lens of Indigenous astronomy! Join us for an evening of storytelling and cultural teachings as we learn about traditional constellations, celestial stories, and their deep connections to the land. Chris Vaughan, aka AstroGeoGuy, is trained in Indigenous astronomy, including alternative constellations and star lore from Ontario, Canada, and other world cultures. Weather permitting, we’ll head outside for guided stargazing.

Beverley will share how she discovered the residency, her experiences living there, and the impact it had on her both artistically and personally. You'll also be treated to an insightful overview of her artistic evolution, as she reflects on each of her solo shows at The Gallery, from her first in 1996 through 1999, 2002, 2013, 2019, and now 2025!
