The Call for Appointments for the Sustainability Committee and the Transportation Committee closes today, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Interested individuals may submit their applications to the Town Clerk via Email or in person (Administration Counter, Town Hall, 32 Mill Street Thornbury).
The Town of The Blue Mountains is seeking applications, in the form of letters of interest, from members of the public for appointment to the following Town Committees and Boards. The committee appointment runs concurrent with the term of Council, plus an additional six (6) months, being 2018 – mid 2023:
• Sustainability Committee:
9 member Committee, 3 Members of Council have been appointed.
6 additional public members being sought
The Sustainability Committee shall meet monthly on the second Wednesday of the Month at 2:00 p.m.
• Transportation Committee:
5 member Committee, 2 Members of Council have been appointed.
3 additional public members being sought
The Transportation Committee shall meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the Month at 1:00 p.m.
Meetings may be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall, 32 Mill Street Thornbury. All meetings are open to the public.
Applicants are encouraged to include background information and any special qualifications or interest related to a particular Committee or Board. Applicants may apply for more than one Committee and/or Board, and are asked to submit separate applications for each Committee/Board.
