The Cedar Grove Park is one of the Town’s hidden gems. Although it is close to Town Hall, Bayview Park and the Georgian Trail, it often goes unnoticed. This quiet park is home to the Cedar Grove Labyrinth which provides opportunities for stress relief, meditation and reflection. The park also has a small covered pavilion, picnic tables and public washrooms, making it a perfect destination for small family picnics.
Cedar Grove Labyrinth
Labyrinths have a 3,000 year history, and have been used to relieve stress, aid in rehabilitation, and to promote meditation, reflection, and exercise. Labyrinths can stimulate creative thinking and problem solving, and act as a tool for conflict resolution.
The Cedar Grove Labyrinth is a 59 foot diameter labyrinth that is intended to be a welcoming space that promotes reflection and relaxation for park visitors.
