The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary lane restriction. A lane restriction will be in place on Napier Street West in Thornbury, from Victoria Street South to 110 Napier Street West for completion of Phase 2 of the Town's Substandard Watermain Replacement Program.
The Town of The Blue Mountains is pleased to announce that 60 new trees will be planted along Victoria Street South, Louisa Street West and in the new Beaver Street Parkette as part of the Thornbury West Phase 1A Reconstruction Project. The plantings include 15 different species specifically chosen
The Town would like to advise residents that the installation of a new culvert crossing the maintenance access road which connects to Sunset Boulevard will be taking place as part of the ongoing Lora Bay Boulder Channel Drainage Improvements project. This work will occur on August 22nd, 2023 and August 23rd, 2023 (weather permitting).
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of a temporary emergency road closure. Woodland Park Road is closed to all traffic at 109 Woodland Park Road to allow the Town's Water Department to make repairs to a water line.

The Town would like to remind residents to complete the Phase 2 Official Plan Review & Community Design Survey before it closes on Sunday, August 13th.
Additional opportunities to share feedback will be announced within the coming weeks, including a series of public workshops that will be scheduled this Fall as Phase 2 continues.
This public survey is integral to the project, seeking input regarding community design elements, including character and design, community services, housing, climate change, parks, trails and open space.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary facility closure. The Beaver Valley Community Centre will be closed to all user groups the week of August 14, 2023 for final grading and paving of the parking lot. Rentals are scheduled to resume as usual on Monday, August 21. Prior to August 14, all users must use the main parking lot entrance off of Alfred Street.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure. Sleepy Hollow Road in Craigleith will be closed from Kitzbuhl Crescent to Grey Road 19 on Wednesday, August 9 to allow the Town's Operations Department to clear brush from the guiderails. Emergency access will only be available from the west as there will be a full closure between Grey Road 19 and 111/112 Sleepy Hollow Road.
