The Town of The Blue Mountains has revealed the initial preliminary designs for the future Craigleith Community Park, along with a public survey to collect feedback from community members.
The survey covers how different features will relate on the site, and seeks more feedback on items including potential playground elements and other amenities. The input gathered will help inform future budgeting decisions and potential phasing of the project. The survey will remain open until end of day on Thursday, May 7, 2026, and can be accessed below or by visiting the project web page.
Paper copies are available upon request by calling (519) 599-3131 ext. 254 or through pickup at the Craigleith Heritage Depot or Community Services counter in Town Hall.
In addition to the surveys, a Design Open House will be hosted at The Shed Community Centre at 140 Crosswinds Boulevard in Craigleith on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Staff from Colliers Project Leaders and SHIFT Landscape Architecture will be in attendance with the preliminary design layouts for the park. All members of the public are invited to drop in at any time to view the preliminary designs, provide feedback and ask questions about the project.
