I am interested in taking part in the Youth Climate Action Fund, but I need a partnering organization to help me implement it.

Youth must be between 15-24 years of age
The fiscal lead is an adult acting as the contact person at the Grant Applicant Organization/Sponsor Group for the youth-led project in this submission.
Projects must be located within the Saugeen Ojibway Nation traditional territory.
Microgrant project proposals must be focused on one or more of the climate priorities identified in The Blue Mountains Future Story or Going Green in Grey. Read the Climate Mitigation and Adaptation page for inspiration.
Provide an overview of your project, including its main goals and objectives, along with the expected effect on the community and the environment. Describe the current issues or challenges your project aims to address and why this intervention is crucial now. (Max 300 words)
Describe the specific activities and steps your project will undertake. Include a clear timeline and describe the measurable outcomes you anticipate. Detail how each activity will contribute to achieving the stated goals. (Max 300 words)
Describe how young people will be involved in the project, including their roles, responsibilities, and opportunities for leadership. Also include any volunteer opportunities available to youth associated with the project. (Max 200 words)
If applicable, how will youth from Black, Indigenous, Racialized, and other equity-deserving communities be involved in your project? (Maximum 150 words)
Do you require any additional support, either from the Town of The Blue Mountains, or from your municipality if the project is outside The Blue Mountains? (Max 100 words)
Note: If your application is successful, you will be asked to confirm bank account details (name, address, etc.) to receive the grant.
Provide a breakdown of how you plan to use the microgrant funds, including a list of expenses and a justification for the expense. An outline of eligible and ineligible expenses is available on the YCAF webpage. (Max 200 words)
If applicable, include any "before" photos relevant to your project for reporting purposes as part of this application (e.g. the area where trees or a garden will be planted). Please submit photos with the highest resolution possible. Attach files if necessary.

Information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and will be used for the purpose of determining eligibility and evaluating applications for the Youth Climate Action Fund micro-grant program.

By submitting this application, the applicant consents to the sharing of the information contained in the application with Bloomberg PhilanthropiesRockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), and the Bloomberg Centre for Public Innovation (BCPI). Should the applicant be successful, the name of the applicant group or organization, project description and budget, and final report will be made available to Bloomberg Philanthropies, RPA, UCLG, and BCPI for the purpose of verifying the Town of The Blue Mountains has met its funding requirements.

In addition, the applicant acknowledges that the Town is bound by MFIPPA and may be required to disclose information, including applications, in the custody or control of the Town pursuant to MFIPPA.
