Staff Report PDS.23.017 was presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting on April 4, 2023. This report was presented to the Committee for informational purposes as a follow-up to the Public Meeting held on February 14, 2023, and to provide the Council with an update on the subject applications and next steps following the Public Meeting. Planning staff have requested additional material from the applicant. Once received, Planning staff will continue their assessment and prepare a detailed Planning analysis and recommendation to Council in a future recommendation report.
Committee voted 6-0 to receive the report for information, which was carried at the April 24, 2023 Special Meeting of Council.

May 27, 2024 – PDS.24.055
Staff Report PDS.24.055 was presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting on May 27, 2024. This report provided staff recommendation to support an Official Plan exception to the open space policies of the Residential Recreational Area land use designation, allowing 33% of the proposed development to be open space rather than the required 40%. The report also recommended that Council enact a By-law to adopt an Official Plan amendment to permit the construction of 17 rowhouses and a By-law to rezone the subject lands from ‘R2-101’ and ‘C2’ to ‘R2-101-h49’.
After a thorough discussion, the Committee voted 4-1 in favour of the motion, which was carried at the June 3, 2024, Council meeting.
