Winter Trails At Municipal Recreation Complex Closed For Season

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that the gates are now closed to the Municipal Recreation Complex for the winter season. 

The property will remain closed until the weather permits the reopening of the Recreation Complex, including the Golf Course and the Pickleball Courts. 

Golf Course Membership passes for the 2024 season are now available for purchase at the Beaver Valley Community Centre. Passes can be purchased at the arena between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Please see below for membership pricing options:

Seasonal Closure Update for Municipal Golf Course & Tennis Courts

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of seasonal closures for the Municipal Golf Course, Pickleball Courts, Tennis Courts and Outdoor Public Washrooms.

The last day of golf at the Municipal Golf Course this year will be Sunday, October 29, 2023. Tee times can be made online or by calling the course at (519) 599-3131 ext. 350. The Pickleball Courts at the Municipal Recreation Complex will also close for the season on Sunday, October 29.

Temporary Road Closure - Duncan Street East & Russell Street West - September 28, 2023

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure. Duncan Street East will be closed from Russell Street West to Bruce Street South, and Russell Street West will be closed from Marsh Street to Bruce Street South on Thursday, September 28 to allow the Town's Parks & Trails Division to complete work in the area of Jack Acres Park. Access for residents in the immediate area will be controlled by the contractor. No through traffic will be permitted.

Town Launches Survey Regarding Moreau Park Revitalization

The Town of The Blue Mountains has launched a survey to gather initial feedback from the community regarding the revitalization of Moreau Park in Thornbury. The Town is looking to the community for input identifying priorities to be considered for the park. The information gathered through the survey will be used to help inform the initial design concepts which will be presented to the community for comment in the next stage of consultation in late 2023 or early 2024.

Municipal Golf Course Closes for Season on October 20

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that the last day of golf at the Municipal Golf Course this year will be Thursday, October 20, 2022. 

Tee times can be made online or by calling the course at (519) 599-3131 ext. 350. 

Following the success of the groomed trails in years past, the Town will continue the maintenance and regular grooming of the trails at the Recreation Complex this winter.
