Between 2019 and 2022, the Town of The Blue Mountains completed three separate wastewater servicing extension projects. In accordance with Town policy, the majority of the costs of municipal servicing are recovered from benefitting property owners.
The Town of The Blue Mountains has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to complete a Wastewater Master Plan (Master Plan) for the Town’s wastewater collection and treatment system.
The February 19, 2025, Committee of Adjustment Agenda Package is now available for review.

The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce the launch of its online Cloudpermit system, which will enhance and streamline the process of applying for building permits.
As of January 1, 2025, Cloudpermit is available for residents, builders, and members of the business community to apply for and track building permits anywhere, at any time. The cloud-based system offers the flexibility to start an application, complete it later, and receive email updates regarding its status.
The Town of The Blue Mountains is pleased to announce that a final draft of the Official Plan is now available on the project webpage.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) that has been scheduled to provide an update regarding the Bay Street East Reconstruction project. The meeting will include a public comment and question period.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that an Official Plan Comment Matrix has been posted to the project webpage. In addition, an Open House has been scheduled to provide public engagement and comment opportunities.
The Comment Matrix document summarizes all public comments received at the previous Public Meeting and Statutory Open House, which Staff have reviewed and responded to.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to inform residents of potential disruptions related to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike that was initiated at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, November 15. Delivery of mail to and from the Town of The Blue Mountains is expected to be significantly delayed and/or stopped completely for the duration of the strike.
