The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure on Alice Street West in Thornbury. The closure is scheduled for Friday, August 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The road will be closed from Baring Street to Beaver Street South to allow the Town's Water Division to repair a water service. One lane will remain open for EMS access.

The closure is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The road will be closed from Highway 26 to Margaret Drive to allow the Town's Roads Department to repair a storm sewer. There will be no EMS access to this section of Arrowhead Road during this time.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of a temporary partial sidewalk closure on Bruce Street South in front of TD Bank in Thornbury. The partial closure will be in effect on Monday, August 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to allow contractors to install new fiber optic cables to the building. Three parking spaces will also be closed for parking of work vehicles and equipment, and a portion of the sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure on Augusta Crescent in Craigleith on Wednesday, July 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The road will be closed with no through access at 126 Augusta Crescent to allow the Town's Water Department to complete a repair. Residents may experience low pressure or have their water turned off during the repair.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of a temporary road closure on 6th Sideroad related to the Bridge 2 and 3 Replacement Project. The two bridges spanning Mill Creek will be replaced this summer as the existing structures are in poor condition and require rehabilitation.
On behalf of the Town of the Blue Mountains, WT Infrastructure Solution Inc. has completed the design and engineering for the replacement of watermain and sanitary servicing upgrades on Birch View Trail, in Craigleith. The project has been tendered and awarded to SMRS Construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in August 2022. Construction activity will be occurring at the intersection of Birch View Trail and Arlberg Crescent and north to the crescent end of Birch View Trail.
